Something I have to look into now, though, is that connected as USB, I don't think I'm doing Standby now like I was, only Hibernate. I thought that connecting it as USB might fix that, and it did. I had it plugged into the PS/2 port with an adapter, but when I brought the computer out of Standby, the mouse was frozen.
I was able to get the Kensington Expert Mouse PRO, Model #64213, to run in Windows 8, connected as USB. My neighbor has cerebral Palsy and I have a tower for her ,and she has the monitor, and the facility that helps the handicap in Springfield,IL loaned her this mouse to use and now Kensington tells me they no longer have the driver. TrackballWorks is only compatible with :Ģ> Kensington SlimBlade Trackball model # 72327.ģ> Orbit(TM) Optical Trackball model # 64327.
